“Almond Milk Doesn’t Have to Be Boring!” –Strawberry Almond Milk
This homemade Strawberry Almond Milk is the perfect dairy-free milk for matcha lattes or coffee, absolutely delicious, and completely refined sugar-free! The key to getting that delicious strawberry flavor is the natural strawberry preserves used here, which can be made anytime of the year because it uses frozen strawberries!

Why I Love This Strawberry Almond Milk Recipe
In 2024, I discovered that my body produces antibodies that attack my thyroid. My doctor highly recommended that I stick to an anti-inflammatory diet because of the correlation between thyroid function and inflammation. I create most recipes, including this Fresh Strawberry Almond Milk, with the intention of making something delicious that is going to serve my needs and leave me feeling my absolute best. I’ve noticed that eating as clean as possible has made me feel better, heal faster, and help with my overall cognitive function. I am by no means a doctor or registered dietician, but I did want to share my personal “why” for creating recipes like this one.

Ingredients:
- Frozen Strawberries
- Almonds
- Water
- Organic Honey
How to Make Strawberry Almond Milk:
For the Strawberry Compote:
Combine Your Ingredients: Start by adding your frozen strawberries, lemon juice, and honey to a pot.
Cook Down Your Strawberry Compote: Place your pot over medium heat and cook, periodically stirring for 15-20 minutes until your strawberries begin to break apart into a thick jammy liquid. Once it reaches this point, remove your compote from the heat and transfer it to a glass dish to cool.
For the Almond Milk:
Prepare Your Almonds: Start by soaking your almonds in water for at least 3 hours, or overnight if possible until they’re soft enough to blend. Once they’re soft, rinse and strain your almonds and add them to your blender with 3 cups of fresh drinking water
Add Your Flavoring: Add your cooled strawberry compote to your blender with your almonds and blend it until smooth. There will still be traces of almond skin, that’s okay! You’ll strain those out in the next step.
Straining Your Almond Milk: Place your nut milk bag (or a tea towel) over a large bowl and dump your almond milk mixture into it. Using your hands, wring out the bag until all of the liquid is strained into the bowl.
Serve Your Strawberry Almond Milk: Transfer your Strawberry Almond Milk to a pouring dish with a lid and enjoy in your coffee or matcha lattes! This will keep in the refrigerator for 5-7 days.
