A Little About Me

I grew up in the humble Biggest Little City of Reno, Nevada, where I also attended the University of Nevada, Reno. After receiving my B.A. in Journalism and B.S. in Marketing, I moved to Las Vegas, Nevada and now split time between sin city and Vancouver, B.C. During the week, you’ll catch me recipe testing , and on the weekends you’ll find me exploring my local food scene with my sweet pup, Rex.

The kitchen has always been my happy place. When I was younger, I loved to bake cookies and pound cakes with my sister. As I got older, I started experimenting with using less-processed ingredients in my baking and cooking, and that morphed into a lifestyle that I love. I prioritize my health so using whole foods and real ingredients has become the center of my cooking journey. 

In 2024, I received my MBA with a Marketing concentration from Pepperdine University. I am so excited to continue to build and nurture an online community of like-minded make-from-scratch-ers like myself. I hope you do enjoy dinner at my place, and come back as often as you’d like!
