Description
These Spicy Tuna Crispy Rice Paper Bites come together in minutes using just a few ingredients, and they are such a wow factor to serve to guests!
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 pieces of rice paper (cut into quarters)
- 1 Sushi Grade Ahi Tuna Steak
- 1 tbsp Kewpie Mayo
- 1 tsp Sriracha Hot Sauce
- Dash of Soy Sauce
- Sesame Seeds (optional garnish)
- Cilantro (optional garnish – highly recommended)
Instructions
- Prepare Your Crispy Rice Paper: In a large pan over medium-high heat, heat up enough neutral oil to cover the bottom of the pan. Cut your rice paper into fours and drop each one into the oil. The rice paper will puff up very fast, so you’ll want to have your tongs ready to remove it and place it on a plate with a paper towel to soak up any excess oil.
- Chop Your Ahi: Finely dice up your spicy tuna – if you prefer cubes you can stop once they reach small cubes, or continue to dice until it reaches a fine tare tare consistency. Add your ahi to a bowl.
- Add Your Flavor: To the same bowl your ahi is in, add your Kewpie mayo, Sriracha hot sauce, soy sauce, and green onions. Toss with a spoon until your ahi tuna is fully coated.
-
Assemble Your Spicy Tuna Bites: Spoon your spicy tuna onto your crispy rice paper pieces, then garnish with sesame seeds and cilantro. Serve and enjoy!
