Ingredients

Scale

What You’ll Need:

  • 3 cup Almonds
  • 5 cup Water
  • 1 tbsp Honey
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract (or vanilla bean paste)
  • 1 tsp Cinnamon

Instructions

1. Rinse your almonds

Start by measuring out your almonds and rinsing them thoroughly with water in a strainer to get any excess debris off the outside before soaking them.

2. Soak your almonds

Add your rinsed and strained almonds to a large bowl then add in fresh water. For this step, you’ll want to make sure that all of the almonds are fully submerged. Place plastic wrap over your bowl and allow your almonds to soak for at least 2 hours, or overnight if possible.

3. Add your flavor and blend your almond milk

Strain your soaked, softened almonds and add them to your blender with fresh water, honey, cinnamon, and vanilla to a blender and blend until smooth.

4. Strain your almond milk

Using a nut bag or cheesecloth, strain your almond milk over a large bowl until your milk is completely separated from the almond pulp. Store in the fridge for up to 7 days!
